Successful acceptance into the MAPS will result in Flybe covering the cost of a Jet Orientation Course (JOC) after completion of the JAA Integrated Course. Participation in MAPS results in high quality training with a proven very high success rate during subsequent type rating training with Flybe. Candidates will be selected by FTE and interviewed by Flybe prior to commencement of the course. Completion of JOC will result in the offer of employment with Flybe.

Flybe is proud to be an Airline Partner with Atlantic Flight Training (AFT) based at Coventry and has successfully employed modular trained pilots over many years. Flybe operates an established recommendation scheme for students training with AFT and recognises the quality of the candidates.
Flybe also recognises the value of a Jet Orientation Course (JOC) as pre employment training and is pleased to be associated with AFT in providing a JOC to all Flybe applicants who have not completed a JOC during their training. Any candidates who do not complete a JOC during their training and are successful during interview for a Flybe position will attend a JOC at AFT on their new CRJ Regional Jet Simulator conducted to Flybe Standard Operating Procedures. The course is fully funded by Flybe although accommodation will remain the responsibility of the pilot.

Over the years Flybe has taken a regular supply of pilots who have graduated through Aeros’ modular ATPL course resulting in a very high success rate through Type Rating training.
