First Officer

Flybe believes in rewarding its pilots and employs some of the highest paid turboprop pilots in Europe.

Pilots joining us now as First Officers will be earning almost £30,000 after two year’s service.

We have vacancies for our Dash 8 Q400 fleet at most of our bases.

As our expansion continues, so do the opportunities. The command opportunities for First Officers are extensive. Those pilots who stay with Flybe may bid for the Embraer 195 as their seniority allows.

Our basic requirements are as follows:

Air Transport Pilots Licence (or frozen ATPL) (UK or JAA)
Class 1 Medical
The ability to work and reside in the EU
Under 65 years of age (our current retirement age is 65)

First Officers ideally will however a JAA Dash 8 type rating. However we are interested in hearing from individuals with the following minimum qualifications. You will need a minimum of a CPL(frozen ATPL)/IR. In addition you need to have completed 50 hours flight time in the last 12 months.
