Many visually impaired passengers who are travelling with a companion may not need any additional assistance from Flybe. Please let us know if you or a member of your party is visually impaired, even if no additional assistance is required. We will, where possible, board you and your party before our other passengers, to give you a little more time to take your seat and get comfortable on board. Our crew are happy to offer an individual safety briefing prior to take off.
Flybe is happy to accommodate registered Guide and Assistance Dogs on all our domestic services including flights from the U.K. to the Channel Islands and Eire. Dogs accompany the passenger at all times at the owner’s feet. The adjacent seat will be blocked to allow additional comfort.
On international routes we will carry assistance dogs that are members of the PETS passport scheme and which are correctly documented.
On flights to the UK we are only permitted to carry guide dogs on routes approved by DEFRA and where the airport of arrival has facilities to receive and clear the arrival of the Assistance Dog. As all airports may not have this facility, please check our list of approved routes.
We would like to remind all passengers who wish to travel with assistance dogs that it is the owners responsibility to ensure that all health checks, vaccinations and paperwork relating to the carriage of the dog are up to date and in order.
